John Carreck, a Vietnam War hero and police officer, was
brutally attacked by two brothers in an effort to avenge their
father's death. Carreck, left without sight, speech and hands,
has no means to communicate with the world. As the mystery
of the true reasons of his attack unfolds, Carreck is brought
back into the world of human communication by a determined
young nun whose guidance also marks the growth of this former
war hero as a man and musician. A shocking, unlikely ending,
though, may change everything
.then again, it may not.
